What NARFE Can Do For You
The National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association (NARFE) is the only organization solely dedicated to protecting and preserving the pay and benefits of all federal workers and retirees.
NARFE is Your Information Resource
Federal retirement, health care, life insurance, compensation and other benefits for current and retired federal employees are complex and often amended. NARFE keeps members informed of any changes that might occur, helping you take charge of your federal benefits and financial future.

NARFE members have access to the NARFE Federal Benefits Institute, an online learning center with live and recorded presentations and valuable resources designed to help members become experts at managing and understanding their federal benefits.

At NARFE Headquarters, federal benefits specialists from the Federal Benefits Institute are available for personalized, one-on-one help with a variety of federal benefit matters
NARFE is Your Legislative Voice
NARFE’s national legislative program is advanced in Congress by a team of registered lobbyists backed by an informed network of grassroots activists in every state and congressional district, as well as a member-supported Political Action Committee (PAC).

The weekly Legislative Hotline message keeps you current on developments in Congress and by the administration. You also have exclusive access to the NARFE Legislative Action Center, where you can actively participate in protecting your benefits by sending your own messages directly to Capitol Hill.

NARFE Magazine is your comprehensive source of federal legislative analysis and reporting on Capitol Hill and agency developments concerning your compensation, retirement and health benefits. NARFE provides the information you need to make the best pre- and post-retirement choices.

As a NARFE member, your commitment strengthens every message sent to Congress and fortifies our national outreach.
NARFE is Your Association
NARFE members have access to a full range of benefits that provide reliable information, quality service, extra savings and security. Locally, NARFE chapters offer the opportunity to engage in grassroots advocacy and leadership roles.
